European Parliament – Brussels

The European Parliament is one of the most influential legislative bodies in the world and plays a vital role in promoting and protecting human rights, democracy, and the rule of law within the European Union and globally.

As part of our commitment to international advocacy, the Implementation of Universal Declaration of Human Rights (IUDHR) actively participates in events, dialogues, and consultations held at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium.

Through these engagements, IUDHR aims to:

  • Highlight pressing human rights issues affecting vulnerable communities worldwide

  • Collaborate with EU policymakers, human rights defenders, and international NGOs

  • Advocate for stronger legislative action on issues like child protection, religious freedom, women’s rights, refugee support, and freedom of expression

  • Represent the voices of the unheard at a global decision-making level

Our participation in the European Parliament reflects our mission to promote universal human rights through diplomatic dialogue, partnership building, and policy influence.

We believe that by working alongside European institutions, we can create lasting impact and advance justice for all.
